Elders and Deacons

Church Leaders

George K. McGee has been with SVBC since early on and has held roles as both deacon and his present position as an elder. He and his wife Susan have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. George has been a believer in Christ since a very young child and has been involved in the ministry in Washington, Idaho and even the Panama Canal Zone. Along with his involvement in Sunday school, choir, mens group, and home fellowship he enjoys woodworking, gardening, architectural history and classic automobiles (his first car was a 1952 MG TD). George has a passion for the great cultural diversity of the body of Christ and the sacrifice that Christ died for his church.

Wes and Karen Gustafson were married in July of 1979 (10 years to the day after the first man set foot on the moon!). They are blessed with a daughter, Evie, who is currently finishing her last semester at a Christian college in California.
One of most important attitudes that he believes God wants us to have, is one of thankfulness.  Romans 1:21 says that “For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him”.  Believers lives should be characterized by a thankful heart to God.  His prayer for all at Sky Valley Bible Church is that we would be characterized as a thankful people.
Karen, Evie and Wes love this church, and pray that we as a church would seek God's direction as we grow closer to Him.

Donald Johnson and his wife Cindy has been married for 27 years.  They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.  Donald has been a Christian for 12 years.  They have been attending SVBC for several years.  Along with his wife they have taught adult bible classes and have lead home groups.  Donald’s favorite bible teacher and Christian author is Chuck Missler of Koinonia House (or KHouse.org), Arthur Custance and Ray Stedman.  Donald enjoys camping, snowmobiling and spending time with his family.  Donald owns his own roofing business and even with these responsibilities he is committed to seeing people come to the full knowledge of Christ.  He is very often seen coming into church with a group of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and any other stray children he can talk into coming to church.

Ron Hadford is married to Ginny, the one who continues to make him smile. They are blessed with four children and five granddaughters whom they love dearly. Since retiring, they have been able to travel in their motor coach; the fruition of a life long dream.   Both have a heart to serve the Lord and although they are on the road for parts of the year, their roots are firmly planted in Monroe and have called Sky Valley Bible Church home for the past twelve years.  They love to ride their UTV in the desert, snowmobile in the mountains and visit with freinds and family
